The Business Development Department is involved in several projects under the auspices of the TC CAS:
BISONet PLUS - represents a key project of the department and through it the activities of the international Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) are implemented, which is coordinated within the Czech Republic by the TC CAS. Thanks to participation in this network, the TC CAS can support Czech companies in shaping their business strategy, expanding into foreign markets and increasing their international competitiveness.
BISONet PLUS Enhancing - builds on and complements the services of the Enterprise Europe Network with activities related to increasing the innovation capacity of SMEs and supporting grant recipients from European Innovation Council programs, especially in selecting a coach for successful applicants in the European EIC Accelerator and Seal of Excellence.
Building up a Digital Skills Alliance for the Enhancing of Programming Competencies (DigiS) - the aim of the project is to help harmonize and develop training in drone programming and control and virtual reality programming, taking into account labor market needs and with an emphasis on supporting vocational training. The TC CAS cooperates in defining the above-mentioned professional profiles and creating an educational module.
Strategic and targeted support for incentive talented newcomers to NMP projects under Horizon Europe (FIT - 4 - NMP) - seeks to increase the participation of newcomers from the ranks of small and medium-sized enterprises in Horizon Europe projects. The TC CAS participates in finding suitable companies with the potential for research cooperation in the Horizon Europe program, identifying problems and reasons for their non-participation and increasing the integration of these companies into research projects through targeted service, including training and orientation assistance in a wide range of helpful tools.
Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) - The TC CAS is a member of two DIHs: H4DI and the European Digital Innovation Center focused on cybersecurity. The hubs focus on the mediation and dissemination of digital know-how to companies, they map examples of good practice and provide information, educational and advisory support in the field of digitization.
European research infrastructures (so-called Big Science) provide Czech industrial companies with interesting opportunities - they can become a supplier or a research partner. As it is difficult to monitor their activities and establish contact with them, a member of the TC CAS appears in some cases as a contact point for cooperation with industry. These are the following research infrastructures:
